1. Lewis McCloud Family Home Page
Here is the super web site where I hit the jackpot! All the way back to 1619. He has 49 "html" files, and I am listed on GENE16-0029.html, the 10th generation.

UPDATE: I have just recently learned that Mr. McCloud passed away 08 May 2000. Lew, as he was known to many of his friends, helped many people, including this novice, learn how and where to search out their roots. He will be sorely missed! Contact his family at:
Lewis McCloud Family Home Page.

2. IVY Home Site
Sharon Ivy has a delightful site on the Ivys, and includes the Caraways. Her husband's paternal grandmother was a Caraway. (p.s. Thanks Sharon for the flying dove.) Check it out at:
Welcome to the Ivy Place.

3. Family Tree Maker
This is the site where I hit the jackpot in finding Lew McCloud's page. Although it is commercial, you can do a search and maybe you too will strike gold. Check it out at:
FamilyTreeMaker.

4. Clayton, Leech and Related Families
This site has two valuable references - Carraway, and Princess Anne VA ...- for early tid bits of info in VA & NC. Check it out at:
Clayton, Leech, et el.

5. Cyndi's List
Here is a web site for finding Libraries, archives & Museums to search. Commercial, but Check it out anyway at:
Cyndis' List of Genealogy Sites on the Internet.

6. Caraway Forum
Here is a web site kinda like a Chat Room, but operates like a User Group. You can leave messages, questions, comments, etc. for others to read. See you there at:
The Caraway Forum.

7. JIMSLOG - The James C. Caraways of Austin, Texas
This is my personal home page at FamilyTreeMaker.com. I've put some pictures up as well as the current copy of my genealogy "gedcom" file. See you there at:
JIMSLOG.

8. __The Caraway Clan__
Another branch of the Caraways. Always something different to be found. Try it at
